Plot Summary

Ferdinand tries to escape from Casa del Toro, but fails. He then learns that his father was killed by El Primero years ago, and that all bulls who do not get chosen by the matador are sent to the slaughterhouse. He decides to help the other bulls escape from their fate, and along the way, he makes friends with three hedgehogs named Una, Dos, and Cuatro, and a calming horse named Klaus.
Eventually, Ferdinand is selected by El Primero to be his final opponent before his retirement. Ferdinand refuses to fight him, and instead tries to show him that bulls are not aggressive by nature.
